Pre-dawn pickup from Lakeside, a 45-minute drive up to Sarangkot (1,600 m), and a sunrise that puts Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Machapuchare and Manaslu on a single horizon — with time for photography before breakfast back in town.
Sunrise varies between 6:10 AM and 6:50 AM across the year. We pick up roughly 60 minutes before sunrise.

Pickup was exactly on time and the clouds cleared right on cue. Great pace, no rushing, and we were back for breakfast in Lakeside.

Beautiful sunrise and a very friendly guide. It was cold, so bring a proper jacket. The only small gap was a short wait at the car park.

We left the lakeside at 4:30 and stood on the ridge before the first light hit Machapuchare. The driver and guide had hot tea ready and knew the quietest viewpoint.
